Hi @lindalum Welcome to the Canvas Community.
We've been using the ability to create Teams meetings in canvas a lot lately.
The Free For Teachers version of Canvas has teams built into it so I assume that it will be in your institution free or paid.
For us we can create the meeting in the Rich Content editor on a page, an announcement, discussion or assignment.
If you have the old Rich Content Editor go to the drop down arrow where your LTIs are accessed from.
The new Rich Content Editor is similar
Free for Teachers looks like this
Sing out if you need a hand.
Thank you Bobby for the information. This is very helpful. Now I need to see how to share my screen in Teams Meeting.
Many thanks,
Linda Lum
When you are in a Teams meeting a tool bar will appear with chat, participants, raise hand etc. There is a square with an arrow inside that is the share screen option. If you are using multiple screens it's a bit tricky at first but make sure you click the screen you want to share, not a document - well that works for me.
Best of luck.
