[ARCHIVED] How to change rubrics for a graded discussion forum

Hi Folks,

I created a rubric and when I went to attach it to a graded discussion forum, I accidentally clicked on the wrong rubric. I have searched the Canvas guides and online but can't seem to find instructions for deleting an attached rubric.  Any insights will be greatly appreciated!

Hi  @wcushwa1 ! To delete a rubric attached to a discussion, navigate to the discussion topic, click on the gear icon to the right of the topic title, select Show Rubric, and click the trash can icon. You'll be asked "Are you sure?" so as long as you are, go ahead and delete it. (The image at the bottom of this lesson--How do I add a Rubric to a Graded Discussion? --depicts the trash can icon.)

If you go to the discussion and click on the gear icon on the right you'll see the show rubric option. When the rubric pops up click the trash can icon to the right of the rubric title to delete the rubric. You can also click the search icon (magnifying glass next to the trash can) and search for the correct rubric and select it. This will change it to the correct rubric.
