Unable to create assignment, an assignment already exists with the name and due date. Does that mean it aleady exists in PowerTeacher Pro Gradebook or in Canvas?
How does the teacher correct?

Hi Rick,
Yes the problem was that the teacher had an assignment in PowerTeacher Pro
named exactly as what she had in Canvas. After she deleted the assignment
in PTP and nightly sync processed, she was able to post the grades to PTP.
Thanks,
Carol
Hi Carol,
I don't use or have access to PowerTeacher Pro but am guessing that the issue is with that application and possibly duplicate names. In Canvas it is possible to have two Assignments with the exact same name (not advised, but I tested and it works). With Pages you can't have two with the same name, but Canvas doesn't give an error it usually just appends a -1 to the end of the name for one of the pages.
Try using a different assignment name to see if that fixes the issue?
Rick
