How can I cut and paste columns of grades (to put them into a spreadsheet or to transfer them from a spreadsheet)?

Hope all is well. Welcome to the community! Thanks for sharing your question with us.

First, you'll want to download your gradebook into a CSV file. Then you'll make changes to that CSV file. Then you'll upload the revised CSV file back into your gradebook. It sounds like a lot, but if you're wanting to copy/paste grades into Canvas- this is the best way to do it.

Thanks so much for your reply. I have done exports but not imports because  it is risky. I am worried I would mixed up the students' grades.
