Has anyone ever successfully downloaded one of Canvas' videos? I would like to download and trim the Assignments Video created by Canvas. It covers content not relevant to our instructors and we do not want to confuse them. I am also trying to avoid recording my own, when 80% of the existing video is sufficient.
Any assistance is much appreciated!
Regards,
Kimberlee

Hi there, @KB08 ...
Are you referring to videos like this? Assignments Overview (Instructors) - Canvas Community
If so, it's pretty easy to download the video. On the page that I've linked to, click on the paper airplane button (Share) in the upper right corner of the video. You'll see an overlay of icons appear along with a link to the Vimeo website under the buttons. Click on the link under the buttons. The same video will show up on Vimeo's website. There should be a gray "Download" button under the video where you can download it to your computer.
Hope this helps! Sing out if you have any other questions about this...thanks! Take care...be well.
