[ARCHIVED] How to get rubric grade to populate in assignment score?

Hello all!

I've been using the iOS Teacher app heavily for grading in SpeedGrader. Overall, it's been a great experience, but I find one thing really confusing.

When I use SpeedGrader in a browser, if I score an assignment using a rubric, it automatically updates the score from the rubric. However, in the Teacher app, it doesn't. I can update the rubric all I want, but if I don't manually enter the score, it doesn't get saved. Please see the screenshot attached.

Is there a problem with how I've set up the assignment?

Hi Jacob -

I experience this too. I noticed it a bit ago, but I worked with it as I don't have many students. However, after double-checking something, I notice that even after I swipe to the next student, the score saves. ...and goes into the correct format when you go back to look at the "graded" list later. So, when grading and using the rubric, after tapping the criteria, it doesn't feel like it's been automatically scored, when it actually has.

I wonder if we should create a new feature idea?
