[ARCHIVED] How to request the addition of new live events?

Hi --

I'd like to see the addition of some additional live events, in particular:

• Course created
• Course deleted
• Course published
• Course concluded

What's the right way to go about making that request? I'm not sure if this would go through the regular Canvas Feature Ideas process, or if there's some other process for requesting changes to Canvas Data.

Actually, I see in the Canvas source code that there are live events generated for "course_created" and "course_updated", but I don't see those in the list of events that are available when creating a new subscription. 

Am I missing something?

I would suggest a feature request, but I doubt there's enough awareness to get buy-in.

I do not see Course events in my subscription list, but I do see them in the API docs.

Live Events is experimental, and so it seems the topic is very very quiet, which is obvious if you do a search here. This thread has been stale for a month. 

I too am trying to dive in. Started today with a ticket to support, because I see conflicting documentation between these two resources.

What Live Events extensions can I subscribe to in the Canvas Data Portal? 

I emailed my ticket number to our CSM and also asked to speak to a Canvas Engineer. I say if they are going to post experimental invite only features, early adopters and Canvas need to bridge the communication. Maybe we can start a troubleshooting thread.

PS. Also, Live Events needs to be rebranded, because CanvasLIVE Events creates too much noise and confusion for Live Events in the community search.
