[ARCHIVED] How to stop users/students changing their avatar from Canvas app?

We have managed to run a CSS script to do this for the browsers. Their is no solution for app user changing their avatar.

The iPad is given by school to students from Prep to year 8. So it's easy for students to change the avatar by using the app.

Hi  @sngamage ‌, thank you for your question! There is not currently a solution for this issue in the Canvas mobile app settings. However, if you go to this related discussion: How can I hide (with CSS) the ability for users to click their profile avatar in order to change it? and ask your question there, another user may have already found a workaround for the app.
