For years all of my hyperlinked text in the RCE would turn blue. For some reason it is no longer blue, but just regular black text. I have searched the guides and cannot figure out why or how to revert it back. Any information on how I can get the hyperlink blue text color back would be greatly appreciated.

Another user, here. I offer these Captain Obvious ideas tentatively, because I realize you're very familiar with this stuff. If you click the HTML editor link that looks like </> at the bottom right corner of your RCE box, you might see some unexpected formatting code. I have sometimes inadvertently overridden text colors when I too-magnanimously swept my mouse, not realizing it until later. Typically, when I hit a hard return after copying a URL into an RCE box, that text turns blue and remains so for the published product for my students; but sometimes there's a lag when I have not-excellent WiFi connection on my end and it sorta "doesn't stick." When that happens, waiting a bit or saving and trying later helps. And . . . you've probably tried erasing a chunk of stuff and starting afresh already . . . but that sometimes that works for me when I'm out of other options. Hoping you figure this out & publish your solution if you do.

Hello @jerry_epp ...
In addition to the response that you received from @MsTia, I also wonder if your school's local Canvas administrator may have made any recent changes to the theming of your school's Canvas environment. For example, have you recently noticed any changes in color on the left-hand global navigation bar within Canvas? You might want to have a conversation with your school's local Canvas admin or someone from your school's Online Learning/eLearning department about this. I do know that setting a color for links is an option that Canvas admins can control...so this is why you may want to have that conversation. How do I create a theme for an account using the T... - Instructure Community
