I run a Student Success Center and have administrative access to Canvas so that we can look up student grades and track their course progress. Students have the option of "testing out" grades in their courses to see what final grades they'd get if they hypothetically got "X" on "X assignment." Is it possible for administrators to have that ability as well? It would help us SO MUCH to be able to plug hypothetical grades in to see possible student final grades rather than having to do that math/calculations ourselves. -Christy

This is not currently possible, but there is a feature idea open for this: https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/5185-what-if-grading-for-instructors
One thing you can do, although it can be up to a week old, is to go into the beta instance of Canvas. It's copied from the live course every weekend (Saturday for us). Changes made there don't affect the live course and you can play around with grades all you like. https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-26549-how-do-i-access-the-canvas-beta-environment-as-an-ins...
