[ARCHIVED] I'm using a mac and my usual content doesn't appear

normally Im on a pc to do school or android, presently I'm visiting my mom and all i have is a mac desktop, i can successfully log onto canvas no problem, when i try to open dash board the icons are distorted and in motion as if loading but endlessly.....?

HI  @gatherthegreen  !  How old is the Mac?  This could be the issue, though I'm not sure.

Were you able to resolve this? If not, compare the browser version on your Mac with those listed in What are the browser and computer requirements for Canvas?‌ and if yours is older, update—keeping in mind that if you're using Safari, you will need to update the MacOS to update Safari. Also, as Jennifer noted, the age of the Mac you're using might prevent you from updating to a supported version of Safari, so trying a fully up-to-date version of Chrome or Firefox instead might be an alternative.
