I'm certain the Canvas servers are being hammered with the giant and sudden conversion to online schools all across the nation, but what are the pragmatics of large file uploads? I have a zoom file I have tried multiple times to upload to either announcements or discussion boards (upon creation) and the file is 293 MB. It just doesn't seem to work even if I wait 45 minutes or more. I can watch it say it is uploading but after it hits 100% (within seconds or minutes) it just never finishes creation. Advice? Thoughts?
Greetings @dougbayless Welcome to the Community! Have you checked to see if that file would exceed your course's file storage quota? You can do this as outlined in this lesson, https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12967-4152724567 If that is the case, a local Canvas administrator can modify the course quota or you can find another place to host the file and share a link to it in your Canvas course.
