[ARCHIVED] If I publish an assignment but it is before the date available, can students see the assignment in the module?

Hi  @peelera  Welcome to the Canvas Community.

Once you have published the assignment yes it will be visible. 

There are ways of hiding it though. Is that what you want?

I guess I was looking for a way to schedule when it shows up.... I have this week’s lessons ready and have to publish each day’s at 9 am. This is something I was able to do in google classroom to keep kids from doing their work before class, and not have to be at my computer to click publish.
