Today's students struggle to navigate Canvas because, unlike the people writing the content, they are not readers. Immersive reader needs to be integrated in every part of this Learning Application.

That sure would be nice, wouldn't it?  Unfortunately, as you are probably aware, Immersive Reader is only available for content "Pages" in Canvas courses.  It sounds like you would want to submit this as a Feature Idea request.  To do that, you can click on the PRODUCT menu from any screen here in the Canvas Community, and then select IDEA CONVERSATIONS.  Then, click on the "Suggest an idea" button.  You'll be able to type in some keywords to create your idea, but you may find that a similar idea already exists...in which case you would want to add your comments to the existing idea rather than creating a new one.  Here are a few other Guides to get you started:
