[ARCHIVED] Individual Student Muting/Unmuting in Canvas Gradebook

Hello,

I would like to know if there are any plans to allow instructors to mute or unmute an individual student's grade in canvas? This functionality was available in ecollege and was valuable in allowing a student to see their grade sooner as the professor is working on other grades. Please advise. Thank you.

Welcome to the Canvas Community!!!

It sounds like you may still be using the classic gradebook in your Canvas courses.  If you are able to switch to the New Gradebook, you will have more control using the Grade Post Policy options:
