[ARCHIVED] Instructional Designer Permissions

Hello,

We have an Instructional Designer that currently has full account admin rights and we would like to change that but there has some debate about what permissions are needed for them to assist faculty with their courses. 

Could you please share the permissions you have granted your ID at your institutions? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Here's a link to the roles that Queen's University use What are the Canvas Roles? – Digital Learning @ Queens (qub.ac.uk). We operate a model of least privilege and also have a limited number of account roles with highly restricted permissions. It's hard to strike the correct balance on staff access so I'd maybe look for a steer from whoever is responsible for data security and governance in your institution.
