Hi! So I set up my assignments to be locked at the end of the six weeks. I still have students submitting work. HOwever, since the grading period is locked by my district, I can't do anything with them. Plus it still shows up on my To Do List. How are students getting around the lock?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you locked the assignments using the availability dates, students should not be able to turn it in after the until date. If they see to be doing so, I would check with canvas support.
My school does not use grading periods, but your canvas admin should be able to help you with the submissions you have received so far. (At least to mark them as "use previous score" since the assignment was supposed to be locked.)
