[ARCHIVED] Instructor email address/default

Is it not possible for an instructor to set a "default email address" for separate courses? I have a course that involves students from other Universities as well as the university I teach, and I would love for the default email address for that course to be different.

I have included that additional email address in my contact information, but I would love to be able to use that email as the default for that particular course. My guess is this isn't possible, but would appreciate a response. Thanks

Hi @stevenward, your hunch is correct for students using the Inbox facility in Canvas. 

However, if you prefer students use a different email address then you could let them know through an Announcement perhaps.
