[ARCHIVED] Interactive Slideshow or Image Gallery

Is it possible to create a slideshow or image gallery on a page with embedded links to places within Canvas? My preference would be to do this using HTML in canvas vs. linking to an external source. 

I am starting to learn HTML but know very little. I did find this resource Create a Slideshow but I am struggling to get it to work. Any ideas?

I realize that the link I'm sharing with you is a few years old now, but perhaps the conversations in it (and there are many) will give you some ideas of how you can incorporate some kind of image gallery within your course(s).  Canvas does not have an image gallery tool, unfortunately.  Hopefully you'll find some good ideas in this link that may meet your needs.  create an image gallery - Instructure Community
