[ARCHIVED] Inviting a Guest to Join CANVAS Conference
Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, without a Canvas account with the university, a user will not be able to access your Canvas Conference. I suggest talking to your university's IT department about the possibility of creating a temporary Canvas account or an established guest account.
Also, if you university has a Premium Tier Canvas account, you will be able to add a guest to your Conference– How do I invite a guest to a live meeting? If your university does not have a Premium Account with access to BigBlueButton, I suggest putting in a request to your school to see if it fits their needs.
Danielle--is there any way to generate an invitation to a future meeting for an outside speaker BEFORE starting the meeting itself? It seems a bit stressful if inviting a guest speaker to only be able to provide them the link to join the meeting once the meeting has already started.
