[ARCHIVED] Is anyone using the Poll Everywhere integration?

Poll Everywhere has integration instructions for Canvas. Has anyone tried this?

It is asking for a Developer Key, and we try not to give out that type of information unless it is really necessary.

If you are using it, 1)how does it work? 2)Do you then have to have a subscription for it? 3)Is it being widely used? 4)Pros vs. cons?

The poll results embed code really works well on a Canvas page, but I can't get the actual polls to embed.

Individual instructors use polleverywhere outside of Canvas and really like it, so it would be great if integrated! There is a Chrome plug-in to place the polls within Google Slides and we use the Google Drive LTI within Canvas, but when I tried that it resulted in an error message for students.  

I contacted Poll Everywhere about 10 days ago to see if instructors who pay for the Individual Instructor plan can use it within Canvas and the response from Alex is copied below.

"Unfortunately, an Individual Instructor plan cannot integrate with an LMS such as Canvas. In order to access this integration, you would need to purchase one of our Custom Higher Education plans. With the Individual Instructor plan, you are able to download your response data as a CSV file from Poll Everywhere. You can then upload it into Canvas, if that functionality is available within Canvas.If you, or someone at your university, is interested in exploring a custom plan, please let me know and I can get our Sales Team involved in the discussion.
