[ARCHIVED] Is it possible to change the way the clock timer that appears during the quizzes is presented to the student?

I assume that the presentation of the clock timer when a student is taking a quiz is a global setting. I see in the student view, the student can choose to view or to hide the clock, but I am wondering if there are any other adjustments to the presentation of the clock.

Hi Randal,

As far as I am aware, there aren't any changes you can make natively (out-of-box). You could in theory go down the path of custom CSS and/or Javascript, but it would depend on if your school supports that (some do, some don't) and whether they would be willing to look into it for you.

Asking about the clock was mostly just a curiosity. I had a student express displeasure with the way the clock was presented, and consequently, she asked me to change it for her. I assumed, if even possible, it would be difficult and probably well beyond my abilities to do so, and you have confirmed this in your comments.
