Hi Jill and all,
That may work for our 'degree or credit' programs.
But, for our 'non-degree or professional' programs it would be a challenge due to:
-- some of our clients may require a custom set of modular content thus each set is not necessary in the same order (of week) all the time.
-- it would be nice to have each modular content that is independent of time component (or order component).
Thanks for the suggestion though.
Pick and choose modular content at 'leaf level' ('usable and shareable'), group them or put them in a 'basket', re-order them per client needs and a bonus feature could be the ability to choose a preferred template (and the ability to deliver them on any LMS platform).
I may overuse the CMS (Content-Management-System) term here, basically, the 'usable and shareable' CMS will serve the LMS.
And to extent it further, some of the content type may be useful and they can be shared on organization website, email communication with students or even on a brochure. 'Dynamic shareable content' and changes can be done at one place. Of course Version Tracking and Usage Tracking will be needed.
