[ARCHIVED] Is there a way to see messages sent via the gradebook?

I've seen answers to this question that have nothing to do with the question - so I am going to try asking it anew. 

I have a student who claims to not have known about something that I shared via the Announcements - because she has chosen to not receive such things in a timely way. But I know she was also informed via a message from the grade book. In fact, I do a lot of messaging from the grade book - which makes accessing these messages really important. 

Is there a way to access them?

They should be in the sent folder of your Canvas Inbox.
