Our district sometimes uses Pass/Fail instead of a traditional grade for assignments, and this could be for specific students within an assignment. I am trying to find a way to either create a special grading scheme for this or see if the Pass/Fail option could be implemented in the feedback types.
There is a potential problem with using something other than a baked-in Pass/Fail approach in that we use the grade pass-back mechanism to pass grades into our SIS (Powerschool in this case). Powerschool has the ability to assign Pass/Fail to a grade, but it doesn't appear that Canvas can do so out of the box. Again, I know I can create a grading scheme for this, but I can't find a way to apply that scheme to a specific student submission.
Any ideas?
