Hello @Alireza and @SrikanthGoli ...
There may be things you'll need to look at in your own course(s) that may factor into being able to create a join code.
- On your course "Settings" page, is the "SIS ID" field filled in? If so, this may have been filled in by your school's Canvas administrator, and it is possible that it cannot be removed because of how your students are enrolled in courses. In my experience as a Canvas administrator, any text in that "SIS ID" field has to be removed before the option of "Let students self-enroll by sharing with them a secret URL" will be displayed under "more options" as described in How do I enable course self-enrollment with a join... - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com).
- Once you are able to find and check the box for "Let students self-enroll by sharing with them a secret URL", you need to click on the "Update Course Details" button at the bottom of your course "Settings" page. Then, scroll back down to this area of the screen, and the join URL will appear for you. This is the URL that you can then distribute to your students. This is described in the link that Kona provided in her original response (and the updated link I provided above).
If you are still having difficulties with this, I would recommend that you reach out to your school's Online Learning / eLearning department staff. They would be able to help answer questions about what permissions / settings they have configured for instructors and if using join codes are allowed at your schools.
I hope this will help a bit! Take care, and be well.
