[ARCHIVED] Kindle Fire - Canvas on browser or even Student App? Does it work?

Hi all,

A sister school has bought a number of Kindle Fire tablets and we want our SEMH youngsters to use them to access Canvas. No luck with browser installed. Can't seem to find the student app in the play store. Anyone got it to work? All advice welcomed!

Hi, @eileen_m_field. 

In the community, I have read that some users have had success accessing Canvas through the Silk Browser on the Kindle Fire, but not the app. I know that will give you less functionality, but it is the only workaround I can see to use Canvas on a Kindle Fire. Let me know if you find a fix for your students!
