[ARCHIVED] Lock on course in progress

We've had a couple people contact us who registered for a recently launched course report back that when they sign in and see their Catalog dashboard they see a lock on the course and can't click in to enter. When I look at them in Canvas they've registered just fine and have even signed in previously, and other students in the course seem to be able to access it fine. Any ideas what's going wrong here? I thought maybe they didn't set up their password properly, but then how did they sign into Catalog? I really need to not be playing guess and check with our students for days.
