[ARCHIVED] Locked assignment still accessable to students?

I locked an assignment, but I still have late assignments.  The due date and lock time were the same to prevent just this?

Are they really submissions or is it students commenting on the Assignment?  If you set a Until date and time it should prevent them from submitting, but the commenting feature may still let them make comments on the assignment and they can even attach files.  You'll see the difference in Speedgrader though because attached comment files appear on the right side of the page in the feedback section.  I've seen some students use this as a way to try and get around an end date.
