[ARCHIVED] Making Canvas site public.

Hello.  I have been instructed to create a class in Canvas to learn about the LMS while I am taking a course through Oregon State university.  When I try to change the visibility setting to make my course publicly viewable, it says "Contact Administrator".  I can't find a phone number to call and the email address I email has not gotten back to me with a response.  This is the only other location I can think to ask for help. 

Also, in order make the course "somewhat public" I had to submit it to Canvas Commons.  I don't really want to leave it in there since it's not a fully developed class yet.  I would like to remove it if possible.

Hi,  @blair_donahue  Welcome to the Canvas Community! Did you create the course in a Free For Teachers account? If so, "contact the administrator" means to submit a ticket to Canvas Support that requests the change in course visibility; use the Report a Problem option on the Help menu.

I did create a Free for Teachers account. Thank you.  I saw the Report a Problem option before but did not think it to be a "problem" in the sense that something isn't working properly.  Thank you.  I will give that try.
