Hi Everyone,
I'm not using Canvas in the traditional course format as others are but rather we're using it to build a resource centre or repository for our staff on campus.
With this in mind, little of the data that Canvas currently provides is useful because a lot of this data focuses on assignment, quizzes and progression completion (understandably).
What is useful is the Access Reports as this allows us to see what our users are clicking on and going into as our course is not set up that students need to progress through information step by step. However, currently, from what I can see, I need to review each student's access report individually. There are 275+ students in my courses and so this isn't a manageable way to review data.
Is there a way to download the Access Reports for the whole class roster? Or is there another alternative?
Thank you!
I don't think there is any way to do this at present. I'd love to be able to do it as well. I have 1100 students and having summary data for the whole lot would be very useful.
It would also be nice to be able to see statistics per resource.
I don't think there is a report for this, but perhaps these API calls will pull the data you need.

There is now a way. See https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-6061#comment-38679 ![]()
