Hi, a question for those who have migrated to Canvas from Blackboard. We have some modules that use Blackboard journals to store ethics forms and discussion around them which need to be kept after we turn Blackboard off. The standard tools in copying to canvas don't bring over journals so did anyone find a way to export journal entries and attachments from Blackboard?

Hi, David.
Student data does not come over so journal entries would be lost during the migration. If folks want these saved, they would need to copy and paste any prompts into a word document. Folks can also export the course content and potentially use a tool like this from the CS 411 Team Crystal team - Blackboard Archive Extractor. I still highly recommend folks copy and paste what they want.
