[ARCHIVED] Missing assignments page info

Out of my 30+ students, just a few are not able to see the assignments page. When they click on "Assignments" it just shows a blank page with "no assignments available" even though I've created 40+ assignments for the semester. We have a work-around because they can see and click on the assignments from the syllabus page, but because the Assignments page itself is not working, they don't show up in their to do lists either. Any suggestions for how to make the assignments visible?

Are your students assigned to sections? You may need to place new students into the correct section to make assignments visible.

I don't have sections, so that shouldn't be the problem

I am having the same problem.  This is clearly a bug, but the folks at CANVAS are ignoring my ticket because they say COVID-19 has limited what they can do.
