[ARCHIVED] Modules in Student View

I have a teacher who has the students entering her course directly into the Assignments (modules) that she has published for the week. She would like to add a little announcement underneath the assignment. Can this be done? Or will she have to use the Announcement's page and then add her assignments in like she's typing an announcement?

Assignments and Announcements are two separate features of a Canvas course, and there is no real connection between them.  So, you can't use the Announcements area to create announcements to place under an assignment.  The best you could do is edit the assignment directions to include additional information about the assignment that you want to be sure students see.  Here are a few short video tutorials:
