Hello there,  @aplunkit  Thank You for posting your question.  In addition to the super helpful information that  @Bobby2  gave you about how to change your name here in the Community website, I also wanted to provide you with the Guide that details how to do this within Canvas.  However, please know that not all schools allow their instructors to freely update their name in Canvas because it is tied to the same name in the school's SIS (Student Information System).  In that case, you may need to reach out to someone at your school's Online Learning department such as a local Canvas administrator to see what can be done to get your name fixed.  Here is the Guide for your reference: How do I edit my profile in my user account as an instructor?
