How do I add a new course to Canvas?

Hi  @bmccarthy3  Welcome to the Canvas Community.

It will depend on how your institution has things set up. But sometimes you can just add a new course via your Dashboard How do I start a new course from the Dashboard as an instructor?.

If you do not have this capacity then you might be able to add a new course via your Admin button in the global navigation menu on the left hand side. Often there are two accounts for you to select from. One will have an asterisk beside it, select that one. Then follow the instructions in the guide above.
