[ARCHIVED] New Students Mid-year: Can we adjust their Assignments view?

With an option for remote learning this year, we have students leaving their in-person classrooms and joining new online teachers throughout the year. When this happens, those students see ALL assignments in their To Do list, including those that were from earlier in the year when they were not a part of the course. This is causing anxiety for many students/families, as they try to keep track of their work.

Is it possible to hide those previous assignments from the student view or adjust the student's 'start date' in the course so that they only see relevant assignments from their start date moving forward?
