The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December.

The same quiz had these other issues going on at the same time:
-Students who selected only some of the correct options for a "select all that apply" question incorrectly received feedback that they got this question correct. Thus, in following attempts, they did not know that they had gotten this question wrong and needed to select more things.
-Some students' attempts were left as not yet submitted, even though the time limit on the quiz had long passed and so the quiz should have been automatically submitted.

I wanted to follow up here so you had a reply. If you're seeing contrary behaviors in Canvas, I always recommend submitting a support case, as our Canvas Support team may be able to triage the behaviors you're seeing more quickly. That being said, there are a lot of scenarios going on here that makes it difficult to get an idea as to what may be happening, so I'd recommend submitting a support case if you're still seeing behavior like this in your course. Support is always happy to help!
