[ARCHIVED] No Copy and Paste on Quiz Written Responses

I was inquiring to a feature that could be added to quizzes.  Is there a possibility that a feature could be added to the quiz builder that would allow you to disallow students to copy from the internet and then paste into a written response box?  This would prevent students from just pulling information off of the internet and require them to write in their own words.  I know that I can use Respondus but I want students to be able to read something or research something and then respond to it.  Unfortunately, some students will just copy and paste an answer.

So in short, I am asking for the ability to deny copy and paste answers in essay/written response questions on a quiz.

No replies?  Come on.  Don't we want students to respond with their original thoughts not just a copy and paste answer?

My problem in my Spanish classes is having students put their short essays on an exam through google translate and pasting it back in the exam. My institution will not use Respondus because it would mean all the schools we serve also using it. Any updates
