[ARCHIVED] No sound on videos

I can't get any sound on the videos. My sound is up on my computer but no sound on the Canvas videos.

Hi trudel415 Welcome to the Canvas Community.

This is a tricky one to support you with when I can't see your device. But let's have a go at some trouble shooting. 

Is there a volume button on the actual video? Perhaps that is down too low.

A wise Advocate in the Community  @heather_stockfo ‌ had this to offer for someone in a similar predicament:

Within the program that you recorded the video in, look for an "export", or "share" button. My guess is you just missed a step in finalizing the video. 

Canvas will accept the following video files for playback:

• FLV – Flash Video
• 
ASF – Windows Media
• QT – Apple QuickTime
• 
MOV – Apple QuickTime
• 
MPG – Digital Video Format
    
• MPEG – Digital Video Format
• 
AVI – Digital Video Format
• 
M4V – Digital Video Format
    
• WMV – Windows Media
    
• MP4 – Digital Video Format
    
• 3GP – Multimedia Mobile Format
