[ARCHIVED] Open-Ended Studio Questions

Hi all, 

I'm wondering if Studio either supports, or is planned to support open-ended responses in their quizzes (like the Canvas Quizzes essay question option). I have been using EdPuzzle, which offers these types of responses, and would love to move over, but the current options are just a bit too restricting.

I can't believe nobody has responded to this yet. I'm looking for the same function. Also would be nice to have a survey function, where students can submit their responses to questions and there not be a "correct" answer.

Does this really not exist? This seems like such basic functionality and it is very needed. Is essay really the only option for collecting a response that is not pre-defined? Any ideas on this front would be much appreciated!

According to this Guide, Studio quizzes only support three objective question types:

• Multiple Choice
• True/False
• Multiple Answer
