Is the Parent/Observer view on their Account the same as their child's?  In other words are the parent and the student looking at exactly the same Canvas?

Hi!

The two different accounts look very similar when accessed through a web browser. The tile cards, navigation, assignments look identical. The grades page is different, and often Observers cannot see discussions.

The Canvas Student app and the Canvas Parent app look quite different because they organize content and have features that are specific to the user's role. If you'd like to learn more, please reply. (If you @mention me, it'll help me find your question quickly, too.)
