How are you onboarding parents with Canvas? We have a site now but I think we need to update it. What things do you have on your onboarding materials/sites? Would anyone be willing to link your sites here?

I set this up but it was a tad rushed. It needs a ton of work but I feel unsure of what exactly should be here. 

Last year we had a lot of hits to the site in Aug/Sept and again in Jan so I feel I have a few weeks to improve what we have.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated!

Sometimes, I think simple is best. Provide the essentials and encourage everyone to get started. (Baby steps!) Make sure there is a clear route to receive more assistance and what those services are. That way, families feel welcomed and encouraged to dive deeper into their Canvas Observer role.

If you have time to add content, maybe typing out some details answering the questions "What can Observer do?" with a quick list for reference and "What is the value of having an account?...and why should I have my own account?" could be helpful!
