[ARCHIVED] Partial credit in a formula question

Two questions

1. is there a way to have a multiple answer formula question?
2. is there away to pipe student responses into future questions/formulae?

This way we can give students credit for correct later derivations/calculations even if earlier derivations/calculation are incorrect.

We have a 1000 person class so there is no way to grade manually and we also need to create many versions of a question to minimize collaboration.  The natural solution is formula questions but then this roadblock appeared.

It would be very odd if Canvas did not offer either of these rather basic features for formula question.
