I am able to see my overall grade at the top of the course but when my teacher grades a test, I am never able to see the score. I am able to view on a computer but not the phone app. This started last week and when I asked IT at the school the response was, "The phone app is for convenience, but is not a full featured Canvas program. Recent updates have been made that may have broken several features which we have reported, but their response has been that the app is convenience piece and not intended for primary use."
This is not helpful if I have to pull out a computer to check emails, review grades, or review announcements. Is there someone that can help me access my grades from my phone app?????

So, you can see your total grade on top of the course card on your dashboard, correct? Where are you accessing your grades when a teacher grades a test? Is it from the dashboard, inside the course, inside the assignments area, grades area? If you can share a screenshot (but don't show your actual grade), this would be helpful. Also, are you on an iPhone or Android? Thanks.
I am using an android and I can see my overall grade at the top of each course I am just unable to see it once I click on grades under the course section. I can see my grades from two weeks ago but nothing from last week. I tried to send a picture but it will not allow my image. It states my grade is unavailable because the instructor is working on them. She states they are not muted so she does not think it is on her end. I'm just not sure what else to do?
Also forgot to mention that I can see my new grades on my laptop just not on my phone. I downloaded the app again and logged in but that did not work either.
Hi Leianna - By chance, have you reported this to your local Canvas Support team? (How do I get help with the Student app on my Android device?) That ticket will collect important information that your local team can then forward to Canvas Support at Instructure.
I am not sure who my local contact person would be. It is not only me now as most of the students in my class have iPhones and it is now working for them either. When out teacher post a grade for a specific assignment you don't see your actual grade but your overall grade changes. Please let me know who I should contact. Thank you.
