[ARCHIVED] Presenter Files Not Loading Correctly

Hello, Hive Mind!

I have an instructor who is trying to add presenter files to her course.  They were exported in HTML5.  They play correctly when launched from the desktop. However, when launching the index.htm from within Canvas files, we get weird behavior. The sound doesn't play on the first slide; you can't navigate to other slides; if you let the file play for the first slide, it doesn't advance, but then when you let it run a second time, you can.  

Anyone experience these issues, and if so, how did you remedy?  My inclination is to host it of Canvas, but this may not be an option.

I'm having the exact same problem as I try to convert my Presenter-created lectures from SWF (Flash) to HTML5 since Flash is going away.  Did you get any answers?
