I have recorded a lecture using canvas studio but I cannot seem to upload it - I keep getting an error message - as soon as the file is 100%encoded, see image below.
My internet connection is fine and I have standard antivirus settings which have previously not been a problem when using canvas. Any ideas why this is happening?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I had the same error I went to studio on the browser clicked record and screen capture, and open the launcher it made me download it again. Make sure you've closed the studio editor where it shows the failed to upload error and reinstall it. Don't worry you're video isn't lost just go back and repeat the steps and open the launcher and record a short couple second video and click done. When the editor pops up in the top left corner click back to recordings and you're video will be there and it should upload.
I'm having this issue also - about to log a ticket. If I get to the bottom of it - I'll post.
Did anyone ever figure this out??

If the posted solution doesn't work for you, shut your whole browser down after you've closed the launcher. Then go back into Canvas and the Canvas Studio complete the rest of the steps in the posted solution. That's what I had to do to get the file uploaded.
I had to turn off my anti virus to get this to upload. That is a silly thing to have to do, and dangerous if you are browsing while this uploads, which seems to take forever, but it worked.
Our faculty and team members also tried to use the solution on this page, but it didn't work. Fortunately, I was able to work with our information security team to adjust settings/certificate info on an antivirus tool that was preventing the upload. It worked!
