[ARCHIVED] Problem with Canvas shell

Hi

I have two issues.  I am a professor at Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University.  

1. Canvas has the wrong email address for me and this is creating a problem for me.  My email is llevy1@yu.edu, NOT lynn.levy@mail.yu.edu (that is a student address - I am an Associate Professor).

2. I cannot download my students' discussions on my laptop.  I work on Chrome and it has always worked in the past.  I am having this problem also on the learnonline.yu.edu site.

Can you PLEASE help with this?  I am going to be traveling this weekend and must be able to use my laptop.

Hello Lynn,

Are you using your school's Canvas server, or are you using the "free for teachers" version at https://canvas.instructure.com ?

There are general instructions for changing your email address athttps://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-13040-4152719740 

However, if you are also using your email address as your login name in Canvas, and you are using your school's Canvas server, you will probably need to contact the Help Desk at your school about changing your Canvas login.

If you are using the "free for teachers" version, there will be an "I want to use this address to log in" checkbox when you add the new email address to your account.
