I have the iOS app. When I receive a notification, it opens in Safari instead of opening in the Canvas app. I have deleted and redownloaded the app, restarted my phone, updated my phone, and reset the app's cache. What can I do to be able to open push notifications in the app itself instead of Safari?

Are you signed-in to the Canvas Student app before you open a notification? Sometimes that makes a difference.
I had this issue as well. One thing I tried is logging out of my account in the app, closing the app, and then resigning in. I got a notification a little after and clicked on it and low and behold it opened in the app! Hope this helps! ![]()
