[ARCHIVED] Quizzes Next Button in Settings

I am trying to create a quiz that has multiple answers (partial credit).  I have watched a video on how to create the quiz but I do not see the quizzes next button in my settings.  Please let me know what I need to do to activate quizzes next.  Thank you!

Hi,  @msutton1 ‌, New Quizzes is a separate quiz tool that needs to be enabled at the account level before instructors can enable it in their own course settings. The New Quizzes User Group‌ provides resources and guidance. If you don't see "New Quizzes" in the Settings | Feature Options tab of your course, please reach out to your local Canvas admin for additional guidance on how you can get started with the new tool. 

And enabling the feature option won't transform old quizzes into new; the tools are entirely separate and can be used simultaneously in the same course.

I would add that in New Quizzes, the "multiple answer" question type only awards points on an all-or-none basis, as described in https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-15039-4152780608

On the video I watched the were able to add different points for each answer.  I am confused.  She was using Quizzes Next.  I am guessing that is not the same as New Quizzes?

That sounds like a multiple choice question,  @msutton1 ‌: the quiz author can vary points by answer for a Multiple Choice question, but not for a Multiple Answer question. https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-15070-4152780604

I went back and watched the video again.  She was using multiple choice answers.  Sorry for the confusion.
